Main motivation to buy:

OH&S accident, staff fell down the stairs with big bin and received cuts  

Results on the following:  

1.    Space Reduction (loading dock space, parking space)

Housekeeping has more room in loading dock (2nd factor to buy, went from 25 (80liter) bins to 10)  

2.    Operational Efficiency (handling time reduction – average 20 hours a week)

Staff more on the floor  

3.    Reduction collection

Cost $0, but collector was going to charge a fee and bottles had to be sorted by color – was going to be impractical.  

4.    Noise Reduction (indoors and outdoors)

Not at the moment but potentially some residents at the back of the club  

5.    Improved OH&S

Main reason (see up)  


6.    Disposal Reliability and overall clean up.

At some big weekends, good to know that collection will always be done – old collector not fully reliable
